HB Reavis achieved a milestone in 2024, when it leased almost 66,000 square meters of office space across five European markets. This achievement, which is larger than nine FIFA football pitches, confirmed the continued demand from tenants for modern, flexible and environmentally sustainable spaces.

High occupancy rates
Among the firm’s biggest achievements is the 98 percent occupancy rate of its primary portfolio, with expected net rental income of €125 million. HB Reavis’ portfolio includes premium properties in London, Berlin, Warsaw, Bratislava and Budapest, with a total area exceeding 607,000 square meters. The company is currently working on new projects worth €750 million, including the upcoming Central Tower Berlin, a landmark in the heart of Berlin.

“The past year has confirmed the quality and long-term stability of our portfolio across all five countries in which we operate,” said HB Reavis CEO Marcel Sedlák.

Domestic leader Apollo Niva
Slovakia is one of HB Reavis’ key markets. The most successful project on domestic soil in 2024 was the Apollo Niva complex, which attracted prestigious tenants. Lidl stands out among them, which moved its headquarters to modern premises with an area of 8,000 square meters. It thus acquired a working environment for almost 500 employees, including a test kitchen.

The advantage of Apollo Niva is excellent accessibility, direct connection to cycle paths and public transport, a cycle hub for 200 bicycles equipped with a service and a café, as well as high standards of sustainability and technological advancement. The ambition for WELL Platinum certification increases the attractiveness of the building, which underlines the emphasis on health and wellbeing.

Worship Square as a London milestone
The completion of the €205 million Worship Square project in London was an international success for HB Reavis. Strategically located between the City of London financial district and the technology hub of Shoreditch, the project was 98 percent leased before handover. Tenants include Wise and Frontier Economics.

Worship Square was awarded the “Decarbonization Project of the Year” award by GRI Europe, as the project sets new standards for environmental sustainability. “The excellent work of our teams has significantly contributed to HB Reavis being named the most prestigious brand in the Central and Eastern European region in the office building construction and management category for the third time in a row,” emphasized M. Sedlák.

DSTRCT.Berlin and sustainable mobility
An important project in the field of sustainability is DSTRCT.Berlin, which was the first in Germany to receive the Good Mobility certification at the Platinum level. The building offers 850 bicycle parking spaces, showers, changing rooms and even its own café, which encourages green transport. Only 20 percent of employees in this building commute by car, the majority use bicycles or public transport.

Another significant project is Varso Place in Warsaw. This iconic building, which includes the tallest skyscraper in the European Union, has received the highest BREEAM Outstanding certification. The recognition reflects the emphasis on resource efficiency and energy efficiency.

HB Reavis thus continues to strengthen its position as a leader in sustainability and modern urban design. With new projects such as Central Tower Berlin, the company has the ambition to further shape the future of the workplace in the European market.
