The intention to build the National Cultural and Congress Center in Bratislava has progressed to the next phase. The state, regional self-government, the National Cultural and Congress Center (OZ NKKC) civic association and three developers - finalists - Immocap, Incheba and J&T Real Estate (JTRE) and the professional public agree on its importance for the development of congress tourism in Slovakia.
The building of present-day Istropolis grew in the 1980s. In its place originally stood the palace of Count Berchtold from the first half of the 19th century.
The Mill administrative center from the development company Immocap will be located in the lucrative zone on Bratislava's Mlynské Nivy boulevard.
The building permit has come into force and the investor is starting construction. Its leasable commercial area is 25,000 m2 and will have two high-rise buildings.
The Lakeside park 02 office building at the intersection of Tomášikova and Vajnorská streets, next to Lake Kuchajda in Bratislava's New Town, has reached its full height of 13 floors. Work began at the end of February 2020.

During the pandemic, many companies began to reconsider the way work was organized and to rationalize operating costs. Gradually, however, it turns out that home meetings, discussions and exchanges of views are simply not a substitute for the home office. However, returning to the offices must be done with the utmost security.
Slovak developer Immocap has secured €44 million of construction financing and €50 million of investment financing by UniCredit Bank for The Mill office project in Bratislava’s Mlynské Nivy. The completion of the project is expected in 2023.
Environmental protection and sustainability can also be considered in the construction of an office building. The Bratislava project Lakeside Park 02, growing by Lake Kuchajda, relied on aluminum materials, which, thanks to a significantly reduced CO2 footprint, obtained certification of environmental products.
