Bratislava is a city of high-rise buildings. Although there are still occasional debates about whether the towers belong to the Slovak capital, the fact is that there are dozens of vertical dominants and more dozens will be added. But which one is the best or the most attractive?
A pandemic is forcing us to work from home, many workplaces have been empty for almost a year. And although the home office may be comfortable, because we can solve everything remotely, personal contact with colleagues is still lacking. The hybrid office can solve this problem, but also the dilemma of companies that no longer want to pay for empty spaces.
Although The Mill's office project from Immocap is still in territorial proceedings, preparations for its construction are already beginning. Jakub Seči, the architect behind the design of offices for Jan Becher Pernod Ricard, UniCredit Bank and Sev.en Energy in Prague, comes to Bratislava with the task of leading the architects department.
The prolific change of 2020 has shaped the real estate industry more than anything else in decades. The digitization had been underway before the pandemic, but the speed of that shift has accelerated in ways that nobody could have predicted.
The "Best Upcoming in Development" award was given by the jury of the CIJ Awards Slovakia modern district, which is growing on the site of a former industrial zone on the Danube embankment. The expansion of the Lakeside Park 02 office project began to grow at a relatively unfortunate time, when the pandemic of the coronavirus COVID-19 was already in full swing and the office projects got into a difficult situation. Nevertheless, the developer Immocap and the owner of the Wood & Company building are successfully progressing with the construction and announcing that they are also successful in renting the premises.
