The launched area of the former Bratislava railway is gradually coming to life. Luxembourg-Slovak developer Lucron Development is starting the construction of residential houses called Urban Residence. Commissioning of the first stage of the project is planned for the beginning of 2018.

In the 20th year, an international expert jury selected from 81 submitted projects, nominated 18 selected works for the award, two of which found themselves in two categories.

Housing in almost 200 flats, parking and job opportunities are to be added in the planned modern development of Petržalka City - 1st stage in the Bratislava-Petržalka district. In the future, Bratislava could acquire a promenade pedestrian bridge following the example of several world capitals. Developer J&T Real Estate plans to combine its Eurovea projects and the upcoming New Lido on the individual Danube embankments in this way. For this purpose, he announced and in the meantime evaluated the student competition, where he looked for new perspectives on the possible form and shape of the bridge connection.
