CBRE is back with the 9th edition of the Office of the Year 2024 competition, in which it will once again look for the best and most stylish offices where employees feel at home (if not better). This time, however, the competition comes with new features that will give it even more flair and dynamism.
It's not just about design, but also about well-being
If you think that a few stylish pieces of furniture are enough, you are wrong. The competition recognizes companies that have created a working environment where you can breathe, think and work well. Innovative design, sustainability, but also how the space supports psychological well-being and motivates employees are evaluated. And believe me, the competition is strong!
"We see the CBRE Office of the Year award as confirmation of the correctness of our commitment to providing a quality work environment. We are a company operating in a family atmosphere and we have been preparing and creating our new spaces together for a long time in order to maintain this mood. Colleagues are looking forward to work, they perceive the shift positively, they feel as if we have had this space forever," said Martin Marko, sales director of Immocap, which won the Absolute Winner title last year.
Now you can decide too!
One of the biggest changes? For the first time, the public can also decide on one of the awards! An expert jury will select the 10 best offices and you will vote for the Most Likeable Office.
And to top it all, another fresh category has been added - Out of Office. Here you can nominate any place to work outside the traditional office – from cafes to coworking spaces to mountain chalets. The best workspaces will win exclusive prizes.
Expert jury full of top names
A jury of well-known professionals will oversee that the winners truly reflect the best in the world of interiors. The spaces will be evaluated by the president of the Slovak Chamber of Architects, Nora Vranová, as well as Balázs Racskó, a work environment expert from CBRE Hungary, and Radoslav Rezák, director of Alma Career Slovakia (formerly Profesia).
