According to the Council for Tall Buildings and the Urban Environment (CTBUH), Bratislava will become the 201st city in the world with a skyscraper, i.e. a building with a height of at least 150 meters
The development in the area of the former Východoslovak printing house in the center of Košice, where a modern urban quarter is to grow, will be determined by the cooperation of Czech and Slovak architects. On the land with an area of 30,000 square meters, it is planned to build a mainly residential function with an additional share of commercial areas and services.
The company Penta Real Estate is launching an international, architectural and urban planning competition, the aim of which is to find a future solution and form of development of the area near the southern bank of the Danube, in the area between Bratislava's Starý most, Apollo bridge and Prístavný most. The competition is open, three foreign architectural studios are also invited.
